A challenge for everyone!

I have a challenge for everyone. Recently I had a conversation with one of my brothers in Christ. Our elders have so much information it truly is a blessing and a gift from God. We talked about how you hear so many Christians talk about how much Satan has been fighting them or working on them throughout each day. Why do we talk about this stuff or even give Satan an opportunity to show his ugly head?
 
For now on let’s not give Satan any glory or praise because that’s what we're doing when we talk about everything Satan does. Instead try thanking God for what he’s done. Maybe you’ve had a bad day...so give God the praise for getting you thru a difficult day. No matter how tough life gets, it couldn’t compare to what Christ went through on the cross for even his worse enemies. Remember always. "Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world!"

This is not onlt a great challenge but a great reminder of who is in control.  It isn't us.  The best way that I find to combat Satan is with the Praises of God.  When I face this situation and start praising God Satan always flees.  He keeps trying but he is on a losing team.  Thanks for the challenge and reminder.

You are correct jmcuree. Too many times you find Christians complaining about the hard times. Which is exactly what Satan wants! When we find ourselfs in these valleys we should always continue to look up and give praise to our God. He can bring us through anything if we have FAITH.
