Why Is It That . . .  

There are so many things we want in life but very few will succeed in obtaining?

 

For Example:

 

-         Nearly everyone dreams of having the “perfect body”. Lean, trim, muscular, tone, cut abs……the “model look”. But the time, the effort, and the sacrifices it takes to obtain this look is something very few are willing to put forth………………..Why is that? ? ?

 

-         Nearly everyone wants to be rich/wealthy. But very few are willing to put forth the time, effort, risk, or hard work to get there. With so many “successful” Americans publishing books explaining their secrets of how they became wealthy, why can’t every American reach that level?……………..Why is that? ? ?

 

-         Nearly every human being on this Earth is searching for true happiness but only a few will find it. Is there some sort of hidden secret of where this happiness is? How come some can find it but others can’t? Is there even such a thing as happiness left in this very cruel world?.......................Why is that? ? ?

 

-         So many people choose to learn the hard way. Bad thing after bad thing may occur in our lives but we very often continue doing exactly what led ourselves to that point. How many “bad things” have to happen for us to open up our eyes and see that a change is needed in our lives?..............Why is that? ? ?

 

-         Why do so many people believe that two wrongs make a right? Just because someone first mistreats you doesn’t mean that it is now O.K. to act out in retaliation. This is very common amongst all of us and everyone of us are guilty of this……………………Why is that? ? ?

 

-         Why is it that nearly everyone wants to “live life to the fullest” and “have fun”, when life here on Earth is so minute compared to an ETERNITY in Heaven or Hell? We get so caught up in now that we never even bother to think about where we will be for an eternity after death………………Why is that? ? ?

 

-         Imagine a rubber band stretched from here to the sun. With this rubber band representing a time line of our entire existence both physically and spiritually, how much of that line is taken up by the time we live here on Earth? ONLY a spec of that line, so how come we are so concerned with something so microscopic compared to an eternity?......................Why is that? ? ?

 

-         If you had a choice of a thousand dollars right now or a million a year from now and every year after, which would you choose? Obviously the million right.?. But the same thing is being offered to each and every one of us by our Heavenly Father but nearly everyone would rather take the short term, immediate gratification and satisfaction of building their “treasures” up here on Earth and not in Heaven for an ETERNITY……….Why is that? ?
